As soon as it got warmer 4th class pupils did some gardening in our school garden where the first spring flowers appeared.
2) Working on ‘Flora and Fauna of the Comenius partner countries’ leaflet
5th class pupils were preparing flora and fauna leaflets of the Comenius partner countries on their Information technology classes. They used their abilities to look for the information and photos on the Internet, to write a text in the word processor, to include photographs, clipart and other elements.

3) Trips to the Range of the Carpathian Landscape Parks
4b, 5a and 5b class pupils with their class teachers went to the site of the Range of the Carpathian Landscape Parks. They saw an exhibition of animals living in our area and listened to a story about the Carpathian fauna as well as environment protection. Moreover, they watched films and slides presenting nature values of the Carpathian Landscape Parks.
4) Information campaign about ZSEE
6th class pupils carried out an information campaign in our school concerning the used electric and electronic equipment - called ZSEE. They presented to everyone a paper about ZSEE and they hang out posters and slogans saying how to administer electro-rubbish. Every class watched a multi-media presentation and a film about ZSEE.

5) Trips to the Solid Waste Utilization Plants
4a, 4b and 6th class pupils went on a trip to the Solid Waste Utilization Plant in Krosno regarding ecology education. The aim of the trip was to learn about work connected with the use of regenerated materials and some ecological undertakings.
Together with the Solid Waste Utilization Plant in Krosno there was a collection of ZSEE carried out in our school and our district. Materials about the action were distributed among the parents and announced in The Białobrzegi Newsletter.
As a result, there were 910 kg of various equipment collected and taken to the Collecting Point at the Utilization Plant. We hope that thanks to this action we contributed to the improvement of the environmental condition in our town.
7) The International Earth Day Assembly.
On 23rd April there was an assembly organized in our school to celebrate The International Earth Day. The issues that were brought up in the performances prepared by 4th and 6th classes related to waste problem, rubbish sorting and recycling. We saw a multi-media presentation discussing the way of rubbish administration in the Waste Utilization Plant in Krosno. There was also a brief summary of the electro-rubbish collection action in our school.

8) Ecology education of 1-3 classes
On 28th April 1-3 class pupils took part in ecology education connected with sorting out rubbish. Ms Dorota Kornasiewicz , the Waste Utilization Plant worker, showed a presentation about sorting of rubbish and talked about the rules of it. She answered all the pupils’ questions.
